„European Health Prevention Day“ – International Congress of the European medical spa and balneology industry

Industry meeting on cross-border Health Prevention

Wiesbaden, 28 June 2017: The first European Health Prevention Day, the specialist congress of the international association “Quality in Health Prevention e.V.” will take place on 23 and 24 November 2017 in Wiesbaden. During the congress, titled “Health Prevention: Opportunities and Perspectives”, participants will have the opportunity to discuss health prevention from both a national and international perspective and to exchange experiences and knowhow with colleagues and experts. The congress mainly addresses decision makers of the health sector, of specialist associations and health insurance companies as well as tour operators and those responsible in the medical spa and medical wellness industry. The two-day congress programme includes presentations and workshops with experts from various industries and disciplines from all over Europe. Topics include current trends in the international health tourism, opportunities in health prevention, the future of European health resorts, challenges to the quality of tomorrow’s cross-border healthcare market as well as trends for 2018.

Behind the congress is the fact that Europe has grown together also with regards to health. Since the EU hardly has any regulatory power in this area, there are many uncertainties regarding the comparability and quality of preventive offers on the European health market. In order to counter distortion of competition, the association “Quality in Health Prevention e.V.” was founded last year.

Registration for the European Health Prevention Day is possible online on www.ehp-day.eu, via e-mail to ehp-day@quhep.org or by calling +49 6122 5333 973.
