The health resort Büsum situated at the North Sea coast in the middle of the World Heritage Wadden Sea Schleswig-Holstein that is an outstanding area for holistic health care. The special stimulating climate, mineral rich waters and mud flats of the North Sea - Büsum provides a positive and uplifting environment to do good for your mind and body.Our Physiotherapist's Clinic is not only offering orthopedic surgery care for patients but also for those patients who stay in the health resort who can join treatments in the Clinic. Apart from the above, the healthcare training given by our professionals in the Clinic permanently motivates the patients to stay fit and healthy. Our training program is a functional one, which means that not only one muscle is trained but a whole muscle group. If the patient is not able to visit the Clinic, we offer to visit those patients at their house, holiday apartment or hotel in the local area.
It is of great importance for us that all those troubled and suffering patients are analysed by our therapists with reference to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) especially regarding functional restrictions. We specifically care for orthopedic patients and are specialized not only in pain reduction, movement abilities and in treatments of any orthopedic disability like back, knee, hip or shoulder problems.
Our therapists are trained in numerous techniques switching between passive and active therapies such as passive massage treatments to active movement training therapy, hot baths treatments to water movements, ultrasound therapy to fascia therapy and relaxations treatments with the wetland mud from the North Sea. We also offer inhalation with seawater to treat diseases in the breathing organs and a selection of special bath treatments for skin problems.
