Termas de Cuntis is a truly inviting thermal spa complex located in the northwest of Spain. Already the Romans knew of the strong healing properties of the thermal healing water of Cuntis, which is rich in sodium and sulphur.
Termas de Cuntis comprises the biggest thermal bath in Galicia as well as two adjacent 4-star hotels. One of these is the cosy Hotel la Virgen, whose style is inspired by a Galician manor with great attention to detail and has direct access to the thermal spa. The hotel has 84 rooms providing every comfort: bath tub/toilet, telephone, air-conditioning, minibar, safe, hair dryer and a TV. The hotel’s own restaurant offers international and Galician dishes.
The thermal spa area “Acquaform” extends over about 2,600 sqm and offers a huge variety of wellness and medical treatments. The latter focus especially on the prevention and treatment of rheumatism, arthrosis, arthritis, back pains, respiratory, metabolic and skin disorders. The spa disposes of 40 modern treatment rooms for bathes, mud packages, inhalations, physiotherapy and different kinds of massages. The wellness area boasts with a Jacuzzi, a steam bath, a Finnish sauna and a gym. Guests can also choose from a variety of facial beauty treatments, manicure and pedicure. The thermal bath is surrounded by a park of approximately 50,000 sqm with thermal outdoor pool with sun loungers where guests can relax and regain their strength.
Cuntis is a thermal spa destination steeped in tradition and ideally located for excursion in the region. Several cultural sites, historic cities such as Santiago de Compostela, Lugo or the Portuguese capital Porto and the beautiful Atlantic coast with vast beaches are close by.
