Two further hotels in Croatia receive EuropeSpa certificate

Hotel Bellevue and Wellnesshotel Aurora on the Croatian island of Lošinj awarded with EuropeSpa hotel spa certificate

Wiesbaden/Lošinj, 1st December 2015 | The five-star hotel Bellevue and the four-star Wellness Hotel Aurora are two other hotels belonging to the Lošinj Hotels & Villas group to receive the EuropeSpa hotel spa certificate. In 2014 the Vitality Hotel Punta was the first Croatian hotel that received a EuropeSpa certificate. Based on around 500 different criteria, offers, service quality, atmosphere as well as security and infrastructure in the spa area, where hygiene is especially crucial, are examined.

Hotel Bellevue has 185 rooms and 21 suites and is one of the most luxurious hotels in Croatia. The “Spa Clinic” offers individual treatments in health, beauty and wellness. All treatments have been developed together by medical doctors, nutritionists, therapists and sports scientists and thus guarantee a holistic approach.

Located directly at the beach, Wellness Hotel Aurora has 393 rooms. The two-floor spa area “Laurus Slow Spa” disposes among others of indoor and outdoor polls filled with sea water, several saunas, a fitness and a relaxation room. Only local herbs and herbal products are used for the treatments.

“We are happy to certify two further hotels in Croatia with our EuropeSpa hotel spa certificate. Both hotels and their spa areas have proven their excellent quality and do not have to fear international comparison”, explains EuropeSpa CEO Dr. Kurt von Storch.

Lošinj island, which is also called the Island of Vitality, is located at the northern Adriatic Sea in the Kvarner Gulf and has a tradition in health tourism of more than 125 years. The reasons for this tradition are above all the soothing climate and more than 1,000 local herbs out of which 230 have healing properties. “Lošinj Hotels & Villas“ is a subsidiary of the Jadranka Group and runs six hotels with 3,500 beds on the island of Lošinj.
